There are a few terms based on size. Pee wee, 1/2", or smaller. Player, generally 5/8". Shooter, up to 3/4". Anything larger than 3/4" has been called many things, including boulder, but should not be referred to as a shooter.
Age terminology. Contemporary, means relatively new. Vintage, twenty five years, or older, derived from the fashion industry and commonly used with other collectibles. Antique. One hundred years, or older.
