This thread is a warning about lack of grading, or blatant slighted grading, however subjective. If you are told to see picture for condition, hit the back button. "Mint/mint-" (mainly seen on Jabo listings), expect there to be an issue not described. If there is plenty of room in the title, yet the description is mint-, especially with additional - symbols, it is pretty evident they are trying to fool you into thinking 'mint', while at the same time having an excuse "...I used the minus symbol". There is also an effort to convince people that all Jabo marbles have imperfections, so these can fall into the mint category. B.S. If they cannot even type out the word 'minus' in the description, they are apparently hoping their deception is pulled off. "Wet mint minus". This is the most redundant statement I've ever heard in terms of marble grading. Wet mint means it is so perfect, the glass looks wet. A wet surface is perfect. To add the 'minus' to it, means it isn't wet in the first place.

"As is". Well, no kidding. It's not like I'm expecting a warranty in case it breaks down, down the road. Seems to me a way to say "It has issues, but I'm not telling you what they are", or "I'm too lazy to bother". If you see 'as is', leave it as exactly that, 'as is', as in unsold!

More on Jabo marbles on eBay. I quit buying from eBay due to the low quality standards. Especially those non-descript details, or lack of details all together. Recent temptations prompted asking the seller about the quality/condition that was absent from the listing. In spite of reassurance the marbles had no issues, every marble had a cold roll. Every marble had a pit, or flea bite. Every marble was undersized and one was flat out wonky to the point it would roll straight. eBay has become a haven for unloading junk. If you are buying these junk marbles and leaving positive feedback, you are being bamboozled!
