jasonjasonjura If you're like most people, a 'Bottle hoard' would suggest vintage. Using 'Bottle hoard' as a selling point for marbles might suggest the marbles are also old. In the case of the Jura bottle hoard, you'd be wrong. A lot of modern marbles are mixed in their eBay group listings.

art-est thinks all of his Jabo Classics, as well as some contract runs are 'Joker', when none are.

mldenterprise is peddling an awful high percentage of polished Akro Agate that are bringing more money than a good, mint one would.

tuppin43 So wrong about so many. After twenty years of selling Jabo and Vacor, how hard can it be?

sherdoke1 barely has a clue. If per chance they get a manufacture right, they delegitimize it with another detail that is wrong. Most are not vintage, and none are Christensen.

ashesOfyou is listing Modern Asian as Akro, as well as a few common types. None of their marbles are Akro.

ianlogansr3 is regularly passing off Jabo as vintage. For the Jabo, Sammy's, or DAS Collectors, he has all three but doesn't know one from the other and consistently lists them wrong.

Seller 'vintage-marbles' For new Jabo collectors, avoid. As if it needs to be said. Any listing that merely states' as made condition', is not disclosing defects and may actually hiding them from the photos they refer you to view for condition. Upon close inspection of photos, I found a few significant cold roll creases that they weren't able to completely his, however they tried while also trying to show a lot of view angles. Someone who puts this much effort in hiding things and seemingly cover their deception with blanket disclaimers, are a detriment to the hobby and maybe feel you are stupid. Ignorance of provenance is no excuse to make something up. Seller has no clue, so ignore their made up information as it pertains to origin, name, etc.

lz4321 aka Jabo Marble Crazy, has no clue as to what's what. Another Johnny come lately hopping on board the money train with absolutely no knowledge. Is deceptive with quality/condition. Is known to have purchased one man's junk and presents it as treasure.
