romeoandruby. Most of their listings are completely wrong in identifying manufacture and/or name of said marble, as well as very loose use of grading. Using common marbles described as high end marbles at high end prices, to passing off Jabos as vintage named marbles and more. It is advised you don't even bother looking. Just eliminate them from your advanced search settings and bookmark that new configuration so you don't have to ever see them.
The results are in. The 2022 award for most consistently fraudulent marbles listings goes to petronea! How about that folks? Let's also acknowledge, coming in a close 2nd place, romeoandruby. These two are holding position for the 2023 award, as well. Keep up the good work. Of course, making all of this possible, let's give a big round of applause to eBay, for ignoring reports of misrepresented marbles, fraud and their overall carelessness, helping to degrade the hobby like no other entity can. For those who care, please continue your due diligence by reporting false listings. It takes many voices to prompt action from those in control.

Marble Central. Don't let the undeserving name fool you. Low end offerings are about half Jabo Classics listed as vintage swirls. Many other mislabeled, as well. The actual vintage is either beat up, common, or drastically overpriced. Worse than flea market offerings.

hawkeyespicks. Completely mislabeling Jabo marbles. Minimizes defects while making up names to B.S. you into a sale. Calls defective, out of round marbles Dragon eggs as a way to try to make a sale from otherwise garbage. 'Epic idiot'.

Well, contending for the number one fraudulent listing prize, nick1425420. Absolutely misleading on nearly every single listing. Selling fake, modern clay as vintage for crazy prices. Lists as 'Undefined', which isn't even the proper term, but in his case it means it's a Mexican, Vacor marble. Identifying all DAS marbles as Jabo. Calling things hand blown that are not even hand made. Hand blown applies to hollow objects anyway. Calling condition 'mint' nearly everywhere, which in itself is ridiculous, but there are obvious deductions on nearly every one. I could go on and on. A total train wreck that seemingly has no ethical standards and only wishes to profit off the lack of knowledge of new collectors.

drewscoins as reported by my expert Jabo man in the field, has begun to sell DAS and Jabo brands, but has no clue which are which, so lists them all as Jabo. Does not describe any damage or condition. Under description states it will make a nice addition to collection. What kind of description is that? Condition, as made mint, meaning as made defects, but won't specify. It would seem he has purchased groups of defective throw away marbles and is trying to pass them off as worthy collectibles. Lists defective cold roll marbles as Ram's heads, even though they do not resemble the pattern in any way. Has no clue that calling everything pastel may confuse people to think they are from the Joker pastel contract run. Downplays cold roll defects by mentioning 'flowing folds' as the only clue they are defective garbage. Like many salesman, tries to lull you with terminology like "Stunner", "Gorgeous", "Spectacular", "Killer", etc., because he knows absolutely nothing about what he is selling. Uses the misnomer 'Gold Chain'. That pretty much sums up the level we're dealing with here. Transparent Con, junk dealer, beware.

lotsofmibs0316 is high on the Jabo detective's list. Also goes by 'Sullys' among other names, never revealing his true identity. Though being maintained by a few who he has duped, is disliked by his own peers, as well as most in many marble circles. Has been described as pretentious, sneaky, unprofessional, and a self serving worm expressing braggadocio in his attempts to infiltrate for self benefit. Pretending to know things but doesn't have a clue. Quick to to cry foul when he burns his own bridge. ebay listing Titles all say 'Mint', but descriptions say 'Mint +/-'. That means he's too lazy or honest enough to properly inspect and describe, or as with most supposed mint Jabo marbles, aren't really mint and new collectors who know no better are letting him get away with it. Doctored photos, including cutting off the outer edge so they all look perfectly round, bad descriptions, refuses to use the word 'fracture' when describing fractured glass. Only states 'annealing lines', instead of annealing fractures. Buys in bulk, keeps the good stuff and peddles the defective marbles as mint. Real piece of work. For new Jabo collectors, understand his marble run naming is off 75% of the time. Find other reference for accurate naming and spelling, as it's out there, apparently out of his grasp. 3rd grade level English says a lot.

Will someone else tell Cedarman7 there is no such thing as 'Wet Mint minus'? That is precisely the same as stating 'Perfect, almost'. Besides, his grading is way off as seen in described mint condition, though damage clearly visible in the photos. His low end offerings seem to appeal to a demographic of low standards allowing him to get by unscathed.

12manytoys is completely off in regard to condition and makes up descriptions that are completely wrong in so many ways. Total misuse of terminology.

ianlogansr3 is labeling Jabo as vintage brands, as well as upgrading lesser vintage as rarer, higher end. jamesmeaddecoys mislabeling common as something more special, including Jabo. e.g. Peltier Blue Colorado is a Jabo. combinedagates is mislabeling everything. heash-6231 is rampantly misrepresenting Jabo as Christensen, Alley and other vintage. Total hack job. marblehistorian isn't qualified to hold such a title. A bit off here and there, as well as passing off Jabo as vintage.

In spite of everything else you read here, you should absolutely disregard and never bid on any listings by 23couchmusic, romeoandruby, petronea and nick1425420. Worst of the worst misrepresenting new marbles as old. Some knowingly, some ignorance, some spiteful and care free, as eBay allows them to continue. Report their fraud and maybe they'll be dealt with.

1999mustang2013 might be considered a scammer. Groups of vintage titled as Christensen, Akro and Peltier, but actually contain Vitro, Marble King and WV swirls, with a touch of common Peltier.

2497teresa has always been shady at best, but recently seems to be slipping into more vagueness bordering incoherence. Listing groups of Jabos as "unresearched". 20 years selling Jabo and Vacor and needs to research? B.S. at the highest level. Nonsensical statements and mislabeled marbles abound.

duffler. Runs a knock off marble police site on facebook to call out less than honest sellers, yet he sells marbles as mint even though they have internal fractures, scratches and many, if not all are polished. Some indicated as polished, some not. Either way, polished or fractured is not mint.

golfrichv Too many colors to count? I see two colors with blending, yet they are trying to sell you on "too many to count". Also, listing as 'wet mint minus' with a few ticks. AKA, Absolutely perfect... almost?

4mygt500 selling Jabo as Christensen and Vitro, damage as pontils, Akro cork as Peltier, Asian as Akro, a football shaped Jabo as Kokomo, a damage peppered Jabo as Christensen layered sand... need I continue? Stay away.
